Ganesh Navaratri 2021. Vakratunda mahakaya Suryakoti samaprabha nirvigynam kuru maye Deva Sarva karyeshu sarvada. Bhadrapada Shukla Chaturthi to Dwadashi is Ganesh Navratri i.e. September 10th to 18th. Ganapati Puja is performed to sand made idol famous as Parthiv Ganapati.  All Hindu festivals and family occasions Ganapati pooja is compulsory which is made with turmeric known as Haldi or Haridra Ganapati. Likewise before performing parthiva Ganesh puja during Navaratri Haldi Ganapati Puja is performed. In kundalini Ganapati is in Muladhar known as prithvi.  Ganapati or Ganesh Puja is performed by shaivaits and smarthas.

Vinayak puja is performed by Vaishnavas. Entire streets and roads are placed with different types of Ganesh idols by decorating with lights and music is played for the enjoyment of children and all. Morning and evening puja is performed by distributing prasadam sweets. Lord Ganesh is not only God for education, knowledge, and wisdom but also for marriage, children, health, and prosperity. For fulfillment of each and every desire, there is a separate mantra Sadhana. With the blessings of the Guru, one can accomplish desire through sadhana. In the olden days, male children used to perform Ganesh puja by wearing a new dress for better education. In recent times thought of parents changed towards female children and they are encouraged in all fields. While performing puja 21 types of herbal leaves known as ekavimsathi patri are offered for Good health. For improvement of education slate, chalk pieces, books, pencils, and pens are placed at the time of puja.

Even while cooking firstly in the name of Ganesh food item is offered to Agni and rest is offered to respective gods as Naivedyam. While preparing naivaidyam for Ganesh first item is offered to bhairav Swamy and the rest to Ganapati. In some Hindu families, Ganesh is also Kuldevatha and they do perform nine days Puja during Navarra. Some people have a tradition to perform 21days puja i.e. from shola Chaturthi to Krishna Navami and then an idol is immersed in water. Some celebrate on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi and the next day is immersed.  Ganesh is installed and immersed with a lot of love, respect, and celebration. Ganesh is son of Shiv Pārbati with brother Kartikeya and sister Ashok sundari.

On the first day of installation of Lord Ganesh 21 anarse sweets known ariselu prepared with rice flour and jaggery fried in ghee is placed as a sitting stand and same is immersed with the idol. On any day during Navaratri, Annadanam food is distributed to honor Ganesh Navaratri celebrations. No words or looks explain the festival of Ganapati, moreover in Calcutta, West Bengal. Ganapati Upanishads, Mudgal Puran, Ganesh Puran, and Matsya Puran depict the story of Ganesh. Lord Brahma directed Rushi Veda Vyas to recite and dictate Mahabharat to Lord Ganesh without interrupting and the same was written by Ganesh with his Ekadanta.   Mata Radha Rani used to chant Ganesh stuthi every day for unbreakable success.

Lord Ganesh is worshipped with the mantra, tantra yantra, and sabar mantra for achieving a lifetime. Success. Lord Ganesh got dual Shakti as Riddhi for success in materialistic life and siddhi for success in spiritual life known as two wives and got two children named Shubh and Labh. During the family celebration, festival, the opening of new account book by businessmen, new Vehicle and early education Swastik is drawn with both side’s shubh and Labh is written for prosperity and success. In all, he is the first god to offer puja. Ganesh loves Laddu sweet and it is prepared in quintals. On the last day of Navaratri Laddu is auctioned.  Balapur Laddu is famous and auctioned every year.
